We are embarking on an exciting church planting possibility through our Seattle cluster that I want you to keep in your prayers. We are currently formulating a proposal to engage in a multi-cultural emphasis. We are dreaming about the idea of having a part time pastor/recruiter in the inner city and South Seattle who will focus on identifying and adopting multi-ethnic leadership and even some existing congregations into our Reformed church planting group.
Our idea is to have Rev. Clarence X Presley, who pastors Word of Truth church in Tukwilla, take on a two day per week assignment to recruit, train and help us adopt ethnic leaders to help us meet the multi-cultural demands of the 21st Century Church.
Our Region is about 1/3 non-caucasian, and we dream of a church movement that reflects the “every tongue and tribe and nation” nature of the church that worships the Risen Lamb in Revelation. Please pray for us as we work on this vision and plan.
