The Sanctuary Church planting team is expanding in membership. We will have more names and details coming your way soon. We are hoping to add at least 2 really qualified people that understand Christian ministry to our team.  At the same time, we are sad to say goodbye to Alyssa Groenewold who is now an elder and cannot do both.
In terms of our upcoming goals: we do want to communicate more with the entire church about who is doing what and where and we want you to hear from some of our church planters.
In addition, we need two things from you:  1- Ideas.  Who do you know that might be a good church planter.  Where could you dream of seeing a new church formed that we could support and bless; 2- Trust.  Church planting is an enterprise that costs churches some members, some money and some of the church staff’s time. Yet, there are a limited number of things all the members of any given church can do except remain faithful in ideas, giving and prayer.  So, our team needs trust.
Pray for us to  do well and in who we support in church planting and how we support them. Ask us questions when you are confused or miffed.  Trust us as we trust the Lord and entrust new ministries to others. No matter how hard we try in church planting, it is an amateur event.  We count on you to cheer for us and love us when we falter.
Keep your eyes out for more news on the team as the summer rolls along.
Randy Rowland
