Giving of Ourselves

Giving of ourselves is a spiritual discipline that we hope all who call Sanctuary home will practice. Two of the primary ways we give of ourselves is through giving of both our time and money. This isn’t something we do to earn God’s favor. It is a spiritual discipline that reminds us that everything we have comes from the Lord and has been given to us as a gift from God. It is symbolic of the many other gifts we should return to the Lord: time, possessions, talents, insights, and concern for others. Giving some of what we possess back to God helps us to maintain a healthy perspective on our time and possessions.
