The bringing together of multiple, seemingly disparate, parts in meaningful ways is a core practice in art-making. The artist composes a melody made of many separate notes. The painter celebrates complimentary colors. The dancer’s body moves, encompassing the full breadth of the stage with dramatic differentiation.

The worship leader, too, has a call to both design and diversity. Designer Lorindo Mamo writes, “Every great design begins with an even better story.” Worship leaders are called to reflect the greatest story – which encompasses every nation, tribe, and tongue.

Join us as we explore diversity and design with artists, theologians, pastors, and conversation partners who believe in the power of intentional design and multi-ethnic worship in Cascadia and beyond.

Presented by the Fuller Institute for Theology and Northwest Culture
