2. Read Deuteronomy 5:12-21 & James 2:1-8.  What points of connection between these two passages can you see?
3. Re-write the commandments in Deuteronomy as positive commands (you shall, instead of you shall not)
4. How does your own sense of contentment impact the way you view and treat others?
a. Where do you need God to help make you more content?
b. Where can you love your neighbor well this week?

Create Change with Peter Fish

This Sunday, November 5th, is World Hunger Sunday. It begins a season of learning about people living with shortages of food and education all over the world, through stories of how God has been working in their lives. It ends the week before Thanksgiving. Again this year, not only our kids will be collecting change for their Peter Fish through a family Devotional Booklet, but we’re inviting the entire congregation to take home a Peter Fish, collect spare funds, and read through the same Devotional. You can also download the Peter Fish app .
