CHILDREN'S MINISTRY

Sanctuary is made up largely of college, post college, young families and baby boomers.  This means that we have a lot of young parents, and kids under 5 and lots of grandparents to share the holding!  Our children's ministry is small but growing and our hope is that in the months and years to come new families with older kids will join our community as well.  We are planning ahead to be prepared!

Our prayer is to see the children of Sanctuary grow up in the love and knowledge of Jesus Christ.  We seek to facilitate this growth through our nursery and Sunday school but also through intentionally involving children in worship on a variety of holiday Sundays.

Nursery and Sunday School 

We have a wonderful group of volunteers who care for our kids in the nursery on Sundays during both the 9 & 10:45 am worship services.  We also have a growing team of volunteers teaching Sunday school.  We currently have Sunday school for kindergarten and 1st grade but expect to add grade levels either as our children grow or as new families join our community.  Sunday school breaks during the summer months.
