CHILDREN'S MINISTRY

Sanctuary is made up largely of college, post college, young families and baby boomers.  This means that we have a lot of young parents, and kids under 5 and lots of grandparents to share the holding!  Our children's ministry is small but growing and our hope is that in the months and years to come new families with older kids will join our community as well.  We are planning ahead to be prepared!

Our prayer is to see the children of Sanctuary grow up in the love and knowledge of Jesus Christ.  We seek to facilitate this growth through our nursery and Sunday school but also through intentionally involving children in worship in a variety of ways.

Nursery and Sunday School  

We have a wonderful team of volunteers that help care for our children.  There is nursery available (under age 2) in the green room downstairs at Taproot Theater during both the 9:00 and 10:45 services.  We have two Sunday School classes; one for toddlers age 2-3 and one for children age 4 and up.  The Little Beans Sunday School lessons are available online.  Both classes are offered during the 9:00 service in the Green Bean.  Children are welcome to stay with parents during the music portion of the worship service and are dismissed to their classes during greeting time.
