Further questions for reflection:

  • The Heidelberg version of this question speaks of comfort – When do you seek comfort?
  • Where do you find comfort?  Where do you seek comfort that doesn’t actually comfort?
  • Is it comforting to you that you are “not your own?”  Why or why not?
  • What do you think it means to “live for the Lord”? How does someone do that?
  • What do you think it means that we “belong to God”? How does that give us hope?
  • How do you think people have hope? What about when they have really hard days? What about when they think about death?

Calling all Children’s Ministry Volunteers!

Please join us from 9:45-10:00am on either Sunday, Sept 10 or Sunday, Sept 17 in the Black Box classroom. If you cannot make one of these dates, let Sarah or Torrey know and they will schedule a separate time to connect with you.
