We are built to grow. And nowhere is this more evident than in a child. From increasing vocabulary, to social skills, to spiritual understanding, to physical ability – our dream for our kids is growth. At Sanctuary, our children’s ministry is itself experiencing this growth. From 3 kids a several years ago, to 30 now, we are growing these young followers of Jesus, and can’t wait for the day when they are leading us.
Our prayer is to see the children of Sanctuary grow up in the love and knowledge of Jesus Christ. We seek to facilitate this growth through our nursery and Sunday school but also through intentionally involving children in worship.
Infants and toddlers are welcome into the green room of the Isaac Theater (just off the lobby). Trained and background checked volunteers are present and ready for your children 10 minutes before each service starts.
Children from pre-school through early elementary remain with parents during the musical portion of the worship service (typically the first 20-30 minutes) and are then dismissed to their classes during the greeting time. The blog link above has some of our lessons, as well as other resources periodically updated.
Older elementary and above gather before service at 9:00am to hang out together and meaningfully engage the Bible. These youth fully participate with adults throughout the service.
