Dear Family of God,

I am really excited about our Fall retreat at Seabeck and our 10 Year Anniversary that is nearing on the first Sunday of October.

The retreat this year will feature an old friend of Summer’s and mine, Rita Nussli, who heads a ministry called Soul Formation.  Her work with churches across the Northwest and beyond has been amazing as she leads people through “Space for God” retreats. Interestingly, her retreats are the same as our Sanctuary vision statement. Making Space for God means that the entire world belongs to our Lord.  We, his followers, continually give more and more of our hearts to him, we seek to see Jesus rule more fully in our relationships together and we also want to be transformers of culture that remind our world that there is a God who is alive and loves us all and wants to help us back into alignment with his blueprint for Creation.  Making Space for God is a lifetime pursuit. It is the driving vision of our church and hopefully it is more and more the passion of our hearts as we “live Godward for the sake of the world.”

Rita will be walking us through some talks and some spiritual exercises on spiritual discernment and growing deep in God. And, she will be leading us into reflections on our spiritual relationships together as Christ’s bride, The Church.  Please pack up and join us for the a life changing 24 hours of spiritual depth, relationship connections and a lot of fun together in a a beautiful Hood Canal setting!

Then on OCTOBER 5, the day after the retreat join us as SANCTUARY TURNS 10!  We will have special services with members and friends sharing as we rejoice in a decade together in and for and with Greenwood.  This will be a joyous and moving celebration to launch us into our next season of Life Together.

Hey, this is an exciting Fall. Looking forward to hanging with you in the very special times.

Much Love

Randy Rowland
