Let's Sing Together!

All Creatures of our God and King

All creatures of our God and King, lift up your voice and with us sing
O praise Him, Alleluia
Thou burning sun with golden beam, thou silver moon with softer gleam
O praise Him, O praise Him,
Alleluia, Alleluia, Alleluia

Thou rushing wind that art so strong, ye clouds that sail in heaven along
O praise Him, Alleluia
Thou rising moon in praise rejoice, ye lights of evening find a voice
O praise Him, O praise Him,
Alleluia, Alleluia, Alleluia

Let all things their Creator bless, and worship Him in humbleness
O praise Him, Alleluia
Praise, praise the Father, praise the Son, and praise the Spirit, three in One
O praise Him, O praise Him,
Alleluia, Alleluia, Alleluia

In Christ Alone

In Christ alone my hope is found, He is my light, my strength, my song
This Cornerstone, this solid ground, firm through the fiercest drought and storm.
What heights of love, what depths of peace, when fears are stilled, when strivings cease
My Comforter, my All in All, here in the love of Christ I stand.

In Christ alone! - who took on flesh, fullness of God in helpless babe.
This gift of love and righteousness, scorned by the ones He came to save
Till on that cross as Jesus died, the wrath of God was satisfied
For every sin on Him was laid, here in the death of Christ I live.

There in the ground His body lay, light of the world by darkness slain:
Then bursting forth in glorious day, up from the grave He rose again
And as He stands in victory, sin's curse has lost its grip on me,
For I am His and He is mine, bought with the precious blood of Christ

No guilt in life, no fear in death, this is the power of Christ in me
From life's first cry to final breath, Jesus commands my destiny
No power of hell, no scheme of man, can ever pluck me from His hand
Till He returns or calls me home, here in the power of Christ I'll stand.

Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus

O soul are you weary and troubled?
No light in the darkness you see?
There's light for a look at the Savior
And life more abundant and free

Turn your eyes upon Jesus
Look full in His wonderful face
And the things of earth will grow strangely dim
In the light of His glory and grace

Through death into life everlasting
He passed, and we follow Him there
Over us sin no more hath dominion
For more than conquerors we are

His word shall not fail you,
He promised
Believe Him and all will be well
Then go to a world that is dying
His perfect salvation to tell

Doxology

Praise God from whom all blessings flow
Praise Him all creatures here below
Praise Him above ye heavenly hosts
Praise Father, Son and Holy Ghost

Amen

Prayer

Loving Father, we confess that
sometimes we think we can do things all by ourselves and sometimes we are worried about things.
We forget that you give us everything we have
and that you make us who we are.
Please forgive us for thinking about ourselves first.
Please forgive us for not trusting you to take care of us.
Thank you for always loving us
even when we forget that we need you.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Kids can use the 5-finger prayer

As part of our prayer, read Psalm 130.

Now speak aloud your prayers to the God who is with you, and hears you...

And finally, let us pray together the prayer Jesus taught his disciples:

Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
And forgive us our sins, as we forgive those who sin against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom, the power, and the glory for ever.
Amen.

Closing Prayer - Based on Psalm 67

Almighty God,
be gracious to us and bless us
and make your face to shine upon us,
that your way may be known upon earth,
your saving power among all nations.
Empower all the peoples to praise you, O God,
that the nations may be glad and sing for joy.
For you judge the peoples with equity
and guide the nations upon earth.
Enable all the peoples to praise you, O God,
for the earth has yielded its increase
and you, our God, have blessed us.
We ask that you will continue to bless us
so that all the ends of the earth will revere you. Amen.
